Mission:
The mission of the MBBS Program in Al-Rayan College is to:
Graduate competent general practitioners by providing high-quality education and inspire them to become scholars, lifelong learners, and advocators of community health, meeting the national and international standards in improving the health and well-being of all.
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs):
K1 Describe the normal development, structure, and function of the human organ systems.
K2 Discuss behavior and relationships between individuals and their families/partners, immediate social groups, and society at large, recognizing the diversity and cultural biases.
K3 Discuss the determinants of health and the mechanisms of disease.
K4 Explain the facts and concepts relevant to common clinical conditions, including their epidemiology, etiology, symptoms and signs, complications, investigations, prognosis, and management aspects.
K5 Recognize the pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, clinical indications, contraindications, side effects, and common interactions of commonly prescribed medications.
